Story
Conserving land--what does it get you? Wildlife. Clean Water. Scenic beauty. Forests producing oxygen and wood. Farms producing food. Protection against flooding. Places to roam, play, and gather. The list goes on and on . . . .
I'm helping the Lowcountry Land Trust reach an auspicious goal: we are raising $150,000 as we approach this year our 150,000th acre protected! Will you join me?
LLT protects the places that make our way of life possible across 17 counties in South Carolina. It has ensured that many of the iconic places people love in the Lowcountry are protected forever, such as:
- the Angel Oak Preserve on Johns Island;
- Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant;
- Camp Ho Non Wah on Wadmalaw Island; and
- the 12,000 acre Brosnan Forest in Dorchester County.
Join me in making sure LLT has the resources to protect our beloved Lowcountry landscape!
