Story
I have decided to run the London Marathon for The Stroke Association which I feel requires recognition and support.
My Grandfather Seyfi Musa died of a stroke in August last year. He was a pillar of our family, who touched many other lives. He had a barbers shop in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. He worked there for over 50 years and was known as Billy the Barber. He grew up in Northern Cyprus, and came to the UK in 1956 when he was 20, he carved a life for himself here, marrying my Nan Zena, & having three children, Jeffery, Eunice (my mother) & Melvin. His family was his pride & joy. The photo shows him meeting his Great Grandson Rufus for the first time, weeks after this photo was taken he passed on.
I believe he was taken before his time, & had so much more to give life.
Please pledge what you can, if it’s only the thought of how lucky you are to have people to love & care for.
As my Grandad told me when Rufus was born life is a gift, treasure it.
