Story
Due to another episode of poor decision making I will be running Hadrian's Wall in June. A distance of 70 miles from Carlisle Castle to Gateshead Quayside.
Having had Diabetes for 25 years, I would do anything not to have it - but I'm stuck with it, however, this doesn't stop me doing anything I set my mind to. Fitness is crucial to helping me manage the disease and hopefully preventing complications that could affect me, or worse impact those around me.
Running this with Diabetes also adds to the excitement in ensuring I'm fuelled properly and able to manage my sugar levels accurately enough to not cause any unnecessary medical intervention...
Any research and development into further improvements in treatment and management, or even one day developing a cure for it make donating to Diabetes UK important to me.
I will be updating with a tracking url for those wishing live updates on my suffering, but the aim is to finish in time for last orders(ish) in around 15 hours.
