Story
Shooting Star Children's Hospices cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families across Surrey and London.Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, we are here to make every moment count. We support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.
I'm taking part in the Snowdon Sunrise Trek for Shooting Star Children's Hospices. It is their toughest challenge in the Sunrise series, as participants have to trek from the bottom of the mountain in the early hours to reach the summit at sunrise.
I am taking on this challenge in memory of Ted Simmons with a close friend (Richard Older) The challenge will be different to many undertaken before and whilst climbing Snowdon, I will be raising money to support the families Shooting Star Children's Hospices care for.
Shooting Star Children's Hospices are hoping to raise £20,000 from the Sunrise Trek so I hope you are able to support me in this challenge.
