Story
Hello!
I am raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, in memory of my Grandad, Fred, who died of this terrible disease.
My grandad was a caring, generous and gentle man, who I have such fond memories of. He was a practical man, who gardened, kept chickens and had a large workshop, where I remember making wooden swords with him.
The cruelty of this disease is that it slowly strips away your ability to move, by attacking the nervous system. It was hard to see the impact of this on my grandad, who had previously been so active.
I hope that by raising money in his memory, with your help, we can make even a small impact on the lives of those suffering with this disease, and the people close to them.
I am truly grateful for any support you can give.
