Story
I have been troubled by the ongoing challenges between Israel and Palestine for a number of years and want to do what I can, where I can.
Recent weeks have seen a further deepening of the daily clashes in the region and attributes of peace and reconciliation are sorely needed at this time. Amos Trust works with local and international partners who strive to meet these aims on the ground across the Occupied Territories, and to campaign for fair treatment and equal rights for all. The money raised will support these specific projects.
Thank you so much for supporting me in this. The Palestine Marathon was set up to raise awareness of the fact that you can't run 26 miles in Bethlehem without going through a checkpoint or literally hitting the Wall between the two communities. It recognises that freedom of movement for Palestinians in the West Bank is so utterly restricted.
