Dementia is a condition that has greatly affected my family. Neary 3 years ago my dad was diagnosed with vascular dementia and, within a few weeks, my mum with Alzheimers. Sadly dad passed away in November last year and mum's condition is progressing. Having experienced these conditions first hand and seeing how they affect the whole family, I have decided to try and raise funds to support the fantastic work undertaken by Alzheimer Scotland.
