I will make this short and sweet as I understand you are all busy people.

In 2005 one of my best friends (Jamie Townsend) was diagnosed terminally ill with a rare cancer.  Needless to say I was heartbroken at the news, but since then I have been touched by his bravery and desire to not let the situation rule him.  He is an inspiration. 

I noticed the other day that his beautiful wife Jo had chosen to do a bike ride for charity, so I thought "that sounds like a great idea" thus I am on board.  We are raising money for Usk house in Brecon who make life better for people who are ill.

On the 28th Sept 2013 I will be sporting some tight pants in Brecon and will be cycling my way to Cardiff.  

This date has added poignancy for my family as it the date my Mother passed away from a not dissimilar condition.  I will be cycling in her memory and for my mate who is fighting the big C.
