Story
Hi all,
For those who know me well; it will come as little surprise that I'm committing myself again to a physical and costly challenge in order to raise much needed support for VSO. After the previous bike rides, treks, fun runs and other crazy events I felt I needed to 'step it up' to justify any sponsorship from family, friends, colleagues and well wishers.
Over the years I've come to respect and admire those who have not only sponsored me but to others, during a tough economic climate and often with little feedback in return. Part of my fundraising effort is not just to beg and ask for sponsorship, but to inform and educate those who have donated and to assure all that the money is being used responsibly and effectively by VSO. During my trek I'll be visiting a local project in Kathmandu, again to see firsthand how the money is being spent and to provide constructive criticism where I see fit (as I've previously done during my trip to Dar es Salaam). For more information about the Trek check out the following link:

The money you donate will not go towards paying for the cost of my trip! If I raise over £2,500 I will not claim back any money to cover the cost of my trek. The cost of me personally attending the expedition is in the region of £2000, which I'm paying out of my own hard earned money. If I don't reach the £2,500 mark in sponsorship I'll also have to pay the difference to meet the target. A risk I think is worth taking...especially when the money is going to VSO.

...or alternatively just ask me! Thank you for visiting this page, I urge you to sponsor generously & responsibly! Your money really will be going to a good cause. As I've previously done, I'll be hosting raffles and events....so keep watching this page!!
Lastly, this will also be a personal milestone in my recovery from an accident last year, and will keep me motivated going forward. Thanks in advance for all the inevitable banter, jokes, and training support!!
