Story
On Sunday 30 July London will banish the car and embrace the bike, for the UK's largest mass-participation cycle event - Prudential Ride London.
For one day only, David Morris (M&G Real Estate) and Patrick Davis (Bell Hammer) have agreed to suspend their cycling rivalry and pool their passion for the pedals, by tacking the full 100 mile Ride London course together, on a tandem bike.
"Our joint efforts are inspired by and dedicated to all people affected by muscle wasting diseases. This ride is our way of expressing gratitude for having healthy muscles that less fortunate, but far more courageous people have had taken away from them. We invite all our friends and colleagues to support our effort through their generous donations, to help continue the work our selected charity, Muscular Dystrophy UK (MDUK)."
MDUK is the charity for 70,000 people living with muscle-wasting conditions. They are making a difference today, providing vital information and support to help people live as independently as possible. They are making a difference for tomorrow, accelerating progress in research and driving the campaign for access to emerging treatments.
During the working week, David and Patrick jointly manage a dedicated team of property professionals working on the construction of the last phase at Forbury Place in Reading - the largest speculative office development in SE England, due for completion in July this year. The scheme will offer the biggest and best communal cycling facility of any speculative office building ever built outside London!!!
