Hi everyone

I hope you had fun at the Balls2cancer Golf Day on Tuesday 30^th September and I wanted to thank you all for making it such a brilliantly successful event.

In a sense everyone was a winner but our congratulations go to the team of Ian and Tim Clark, Nick George and John Mayers.

Can I give a big thanks to Jeremy for guiding us through the day’s activities and acting as a coordinator throughout the evening.  A special thanks also goes to Peter Bache for running such a fun, enthusiastic and successful auction and Ruth Downing for being a constant support throughout this whole process. Can I also thank Robert Jones whose saxophone playing we enjoyed, he is clearly a fantastically gifted musician and we will eagerly watch his future career unfold.

My thanks go to the golf club for presenting the golf course in such a fine condition which many non-members who played, have commented on and also for the concession on the green fees.

We have now counted the total raised and it comes to a massive £30,000!! - including £650 raised by the Pro Challenge on the third hole.  Many thanks to our Pro, Chris Fisher, for taking part.  This is double our original target and has exceeded our wildest dreams. Thank you so much for all of your generosity.
