I am running the Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday 28^th
May 2023.  I am trying to raise money for Cancer Research UK while doing so.  

The reason for choosing this was just as I was hanging up my rugby boots last summer, my Uncle received a Cancer diagnosis that will ultimately prove fatal, the fact he’s still here is down to his incredible fighting spirit and the treatment he is receiving from the NHS.  I chose Edinburgh as he hails from there. 

On top of that, one of my best mates got a diagnosis out of
the blue at the tail end of 2022 of Myeloma, a very rare form of Cancer.  I am running this for both of them.
