Event: Brawl for Nepal 2020, on 14 March 2020
Brawl for Nepal is a fun-fueled night of amateur boxing in aid of The Umbrella Foundation. Our Brawlers take part in an 8-week training course of professional boxing come January 2020 in anticipation of our epic fight night in March.

Story

I traveled to Nepal with The Umbrella Foundation almost 10 years ago! I have seen first hand the incredible work the foundation have done and continue to do. I have been connected with Umbrella ever since and have now finally found the bottle to take part in the brawl!

On March 14th 2020 I will compete in Brawl for Nepal, a white-collar boxing event and so, the training has started!

The Umbrella Foundation is working to alleviate the impact of trafficking, poverty, and war on children and their families in Nepal. The much needed funds raised through this event will ensure the continued, high-quality support of all children under Umbrellas care, enabling them to complete their education and become happy and contributing members of society.

Please help me by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button. The more people that know about this, the greater the impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with friends and family. Thank you so much for your support!

About the campaign

About the charity

The Umbrella Foundation is a non-profit NGO and registered charity working to alleviate the impact of trafficking, poverty and war in Nepal. Since 2005, we have rescued 405 vulnerable children and reintegrated more than 200 back with their families and rural communities. When this was not possible, we supported them in our homes until they can stand on their own two feet. We also do awareness-raising activities in rural areas such as radio programs and street dramas, to help educate communities about issues such as child marriage, child trafficking and child labour.
