The picture above is my dear friend, Pete (On the right) and I finishing the half marathon last May. In September 2014, Pete was diagnosed with Leukaemia,  after a very short but exceedingly brave battle, Pete sadly passed away on 2nd December 2014. Pete leaves behind his beloved wife Tracy and his two wonderful children,  Liam and Sophie.

Without my running Partner I have struggled with any level of training, however;  I have decided to still run the Chester Half Marathon this year in Pete's memory and to raise money for this relevant and exceedingly worthy cause. This charity has been chosen by Liam and Sophie.
