London to Brighton bike ride, D Day.

A 3am start to get the transport to London for a 6.30 kick-off. 

Cold and windy (headwind of course) but the rain held off until, incredibly, the finish straight. Took about 4h 40m with a couple of snack stops. A few of the team were cycling back..afraid my bum wouldn't allow that !

Have now raised around £350,  many thanks to all of you.

The committed post race swim in the sea was NOT appealing, a choppy sea, windy, raining and the alternative of a second bacon, egg and chips was calling, but promises are promises ....until next year , Dave
