Story
Hi everyone!
Thank you so much for visiting my page. I know there are lots of people out there doing all sorts of great fundraising events, so I'm honoured that you've taken the time and answered my call to visit my site.
The charity speaks for itself (The Prostate Cancer Charity)* so I know I needn't do any selling on that respect.
But what I do obviously need to convince you of is that I'll be suffering some hardship for my efforts. In the past I've had a go at half marathons etc, so growing and keeping a 'tache for a month should be easy in comparison.
Well those of you who know me well will know I've never sported any kind of facial hair. I rarely go 2 days without shaving due to the annoying itch that ensues. So this 'Movember' I pledge to grow the best moustache I possibly can. I will even upload photo's of continuing developments.
Some of you may even be wondering if my facial follicles are made of the right stuff. Well pledge your hard earned cash and we'll see :)
*About The Prostate Cancer Charity
The Prostate Cancer Charity was founded by Professor Jonathan Waxman in 1996 in response to the urgent need to increase investment in prostate cancer research and to raise public and political awareness of a long neglected disease. We are now the UK’s leading voluntary organisation working with people affected by prostate cancer.
Our vision is a world where lives are no longer limited by prostate cancer. Our mission is to fight prostate cancer on every front – through research, support, information and campaigning.
