Well what a day!  This year's Great North Run - Sunday 20th September was one of the warmest with little if any breeze so I took it very steady.  That proved a good decision because I relaxed and enjoyed the whole occasion, fantastic atmosphere, terrific support and generosity of the people of Newcastle, Gateshead and South Shields.

Your donations will help PICU, the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit located at the Freeman Hospital - Newcastle upon Tyne.  PICU is a registered charity established to raise funds for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit of the Freeman Hospital to ensure that they can continue to develop and save childrens lives.
