Story

I have been a fire fighter since March 1993, I have been a devoted retained fire fighter serving North Berwick all this time and also work as a night porter for The Pine Marten Pub in Dunbar

In February this year I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, this was a shock to both myself and my wife Karen, since generally I was a healthy fit man who very rarely was ill.

I started my radiation the follow week then on to 3 rounds of monthly chemotherapy at the Western General Hospital, on completion of this i am now about to under go a stem cell transplant to finish my treatment for the Myeloma

During this time I have been massively supported by the fire fighter charity, with multiple aspects of my journey, so have decided to give something back!

Myself and 16 of my friends, family and colleagues from both North Berwick fire station and The Pine Marten have decided to give ourselves a post lockdown haircut, and shave our hair off before my treatment in 4-6 weeks time

So..... we will all shave our locks one by one as a team to raise as much money for the fire fighters charity as possible.

Every single penny you can donate will be massively appreciated

Let's see how much we can raise and prove that our locks can be valuable

Thank you all so much for your support ❤
