As everyone who knows me knows the last 16 months have been full of ups and downs so it was a great to recieve a surprise christmas present from my brother in law Ryan Grumbridge - race entry for us both to the Manchester 10K run for May 2014. With the excellent care and treatment by Dr Tholouli's team at Manchester Royal Infirmary over the last 16 months and the fantastic work done by the charity leukaemia and lymphoma research I am now in a position to look positively at my future with my family and friends and start to get fit and train for this run. I want to give something back to those who have helped me and help others who find themselves in a similar situation. I want to raise money to help try to find a cure and beat blood cancers. So please give generously.
