I have decided to participate in the Manchester 10k this coming May to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.

Doug Hume was a very close friend of mine / fatherly figure who I had known since my early teens at Wilmslow Sports as well as him being Dad to my best mate. Sadly he passed away in December 2010 from a sudden heart attack, so I have decided to try and raise some money in his memory to donate to charity.  

I know that people are always asking for donations, however this is an excellent cause so please dig deep and help me achieve my target.
