Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On January 13th 2011, my son Ryan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Although we have had many ups and downs, Ryan is at present in remission and is continuing to make good progress.

Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is the only UK charity solely dedicated to research into blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma, and it is in order to raise money for them that I shall be participating in the Birmingham stage of Beefy's Great British Walk 2012. Sir Ian Botham's walks have raised huge amounts of money to advance the treatment of young people with these devastating diseases, but the fact is there are still children, teenagers and young adults losing their battle. I'm sure you understand that this is not only an extremely deserving cause but one that is also very close to my heart. Please give as much as you can!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
