I have decided with friends to enter this event to raise funds for The Sick Childrens Trust as they provided me with accommodation at Crawford House when my son Archie was in the Newcastle RVI Special Care Baby Unit after suffering a stroke hours after being born. My wife was also admitted into the hospital and the trust provided me free accomodation for the duration of Achie's time in hospital. The trust and Crawford house take away a lot of stress for people needing a place to stay while their children are recieving hospital treatment all for free or a donation if you can. I would love to raise funds to help other families have a place to stay in similar circumstances.
