Maggie's Nottingham needs your support now more than ever. We are here supporting people with cancer and their families who are worried and anxious that their treatment plan might change, and are wondering what coronavirus means for them.

Story

Maggies Nottingham needs your support now more than ever. They support people with cancer and their families who are worried and anxious that their treatment plan might be changed and wondering what coronavirus means for them.

Their team currently provide one to one phone, skype, email and facetime support. Their online community, run by psychologists, cancer support specialists and benefits advisors, also helps with daily blogs on how to cope with self isolation or treatment changes.

People can join their online 'kitchen table' with others who are going through the same thing, thereby getting much needed support.

My wife and I had this support in person through 2 extensive periods of cancer treatment, so know just important it is - even to escape the hospital environment to their small world of peace and calm can do so much to improve one's mental well-being.
