Story
Over the course of 2014 I am planning on undertaking a range of challenges all in support of Alzheimers Scotland, with the big challenge the Deloitte Ride Across Britain, a cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats over 9 days covering almost 1000 miles with 25 colleagues and collectively we are aiming to raise £95,000.
As well as the Ride Across Britain, I have also signed up for the Great Scottish Swim in Loch Lomond, the Glasgow Half Marathon and the Bank of Scotland Big Bike ride through the Trossachs. With my final event of the year the Florence Marathon in November.
The Money raised will be used make an enormous difference to people living with dementia and those who care for them. It will be helping people stay connected to their communities and in control of their lives, ending the loneliness and isolation that affects so many people with dementia.
