****We both took part and completed the 2010 Great North Run, Sam finished in 2hours, 10mins and 32 seconds, David finished in 2 Hours, 50min and 54 seconds, please help us raise more money to make the hard work worthwhile****

 

Here is our story:-

 

Our Grandma, Margo (in the photo) has the disease and we have witnessed the damage that it can do to a loved one over time. She was well enough to still be living at home 6 months ago, but her health has deteriorated now.

Towards the end of 2009, my Grandma was found wandering down the railway line near her house and this is only 1/4 mile from the electrified east coast main line. Fortunately she was spotted and picked up by someone. She is now in a home and receiving the full time care she needs. We feel that we need to try and help others like our family who are dealing with this disease and their families by doing the run for charity.
