I am running the Yorkshire marathon in memory of our son Edward. Edward was born sleeping in February of last year. This was the hardest and most painful thing we have been through. SANDS offered support by providing us with a memory box. They also provided us with a petal with Edward's name on which is hanging at the SANDS memorial garden in Derby. 

SANDS also offer support and counselling to families who have suffered baby loss. In addition to this they fund research into why babies are born early.
