My name is Elisha, I am currently 18 years of age and myself along with my sister Jade aged 15 my dad and my boyfriend aged 18 are going ahead with the task of completing the Three Peaks Challenge on july the 7th of this year.This will be taken place over an astounding 24 hours!!! walking up the three highest mountains in England, Wales and Scotland. To do so we will awaken very early in the morning travelling in a minibus, there is a group of about 8 of us doing the walk, the other 4 people have chosen different charities meaning something special to them,

The reason for the choice of charity is because when iwas about 9 and my sister was about 6, my dad discovered he had a brain tumor, he had an operation however not all of it was removed because it could have made him partially blind as it was too close to his eye. the doctors said it was ok, but they were to do tests every year to check on the growth, sadly when i was 12 ( my sister was 9), it grew slightly and he then had to undertake another operation which involved laser surgery.

We are very proud of what my dad has been through and would like to do something for him and for everyone who has been through what we have. This year it will be extra special because unfortunately my dad couldnt complete a skydive which i completed 2 years back due to the doctors saying it wasnt safe, however he will be doing this challenge with us.
