The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. 
Mum was lucky to be treated for severe heart issues and thanks to the BHF and skilled NHS staff she now has a clean bill of health. 
It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures.
£24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.

Originally I was going to aim for 100+ miles BUT after some training I will be aiming to beat my 150 mile target by cycling when possible throughout the month of August.
I will also be cycling this month to raise funds for the NHS North Devon "Over and Above" cancer charity.
