Story

Hi, my name is Dave. I will be running to raise money for the RNIB. I have recently had eye surgery to remove a cataract from my right eye and replace the lens. I am blessed that the operation was a success. I can again see the beauty of God's creation.

I still have a cataract in my left eye, but the change to my vision is incredible. With the left eye things become blurred and I lose about 50% of the detail, but with the right eye I see the full detail. And in stereo the view is brilliant.

Being able to see well again has increased my confidence and I feel on top of the world.

Where we can we need to help prevent sight loss and where this is not possible we should help people who do not have this sense. I hope you will join me in supporting the work of the RNIB.
