Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
It's been a little over a year since dad was initially diagnosed with cancer. During this time he fought his battle with the same pride and dignity he had always shown throughout his life. He continued to remain strong and positive right until the very end.
Over the past year dad had received advice and treatment from a number of different sources, including The Royal Marsden and St Christophers Hospice, to whom we are all forever grateful. However, we as a family have decided to support 'The Institute of Cancer Research', who work in partnership with The Royal Marsden. We feel that their vision (... people may live their lives free from the fear of cancer as a life threatening disease) strongly reflects our own, as we too hope for a future free of cancer for everyone.
