I've always dreamed of swimming the English Channel so this is the next best thing and for a great cause too...I'm taking on the Aspire Channel Swim 2018, swimming the distance of the Channel (over 1400 lengths of a 25mtr pool) in a local pool over the next 4-6 weeks to raise money for Aspire. Every eight hours someone is paralysed by a Spinal Cord Injury and Aspire provides the essential equipment, advice, housing and grants that spinal cord injured people need to live their lives independently. This is a big challenge, but the more I raise, the more of a difference I'll make, so please be generous (although every £1 helps!)  Thanks for reading and wish me luck - I may have grown gills the next time you see me!
