Velindre Cancer Services provides treatment, care and support to patients and their families. Money raised by our fundraisers allows us to support projects over and above those provided by the NHS including ground breaking research, specialist equipment, nurses and staff training.

Story

I was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer in June 2014 and after an operation to remove the 'offending article' discovered that it had spread to other parts of my body. I was treated by the amazing team at Velindre Hospital who's knowledge, support and care saved my life. I was given the all clear on 27th October 2014 and touch wood, bar regular checks and scans will be all gravy from here on in. For this reason i want to give something back and in some small way show my appreciation for what they have done. Please help me in giving much needed funds so that they can continue to treat others like me in the future and help fight back against this disease that affects so many people. :-)
