On the 26th-27th May myself and two others are planning to ride the South Downs Way from Winchester to Eastbourne, off road, across the 100 miles of ridiculously muddy, positively moutainous South downs. Last time I attempted this I returned with broken ribs so am naturally delighted to be having another go :)

To spur me on I'm raising money for a local Childrens Hospice. I am so lucky to have two healthy kids, and cannot imagine the sadness of watching a child of your own's last days. Anything that makes that a fraction more bearable has to be a worthwhile cause and this hospice is so valuable in that regard.
