Story
Can I have your attention for a minute.
When the unspeakable happens to a young person and they lose a parent or sibling, its often just too much for them to take on board. Its not easy to talk about, or deal with internally. Grief Encounter is an organisation that deals with the hardest issues around loss and bereavement. They work in schools, with individuals and families. They also went in and supported the entire community at the time of the Grenfell tragedy and work with different groups as the enormity of the community bereavement continues to unfold.
This is such an important cause supported by some incredibly well-known celebrity friends including Al Murray, Katherine Jenkins, Kenny Logan and Martin Lewis to name a few. The charity’s services are completely free and available when they are needed most.
I love running so the least I can do is participate in the London Landmarks Half Marathon in August followed by the Amsterdam Marathon in October and raise some money so they can continue to provide their vital services.
Thank you so much.
