Brighton Marathon 2016 · 17 April 2016 ·

Ovacome is the national UK ovarian cancer charity focused on providing support to anyone affected by ovarian cancer. We are a strong community working together with the aim of reducing isolation, sharing information, promoting knowledge and supporting anyone affected by the disease.

Story

I am going to run the Brighton marathon on 17th April and thought that I should do it for a cause close to my heart.

Having researched a number of charities providing support for ovarian cancer, I have decided to split my funding between two, OvaCare in Ireland and Ovacome in the UK. This page will be for donations to Ovacome and the following address will direct you to a donations page for OvaCare.

Mum lost her battle with her cancer on 1st October 2013 and I have a friend here in London, Liz, who is currently undergoing treatment. Both these charities are run by survivors of ovarian cancer and both divide their funds between support, education and research.

I am asking you to split any donations between the two charities but that is ultimately up to yourself, whatever way you choose to donate, thank you, it means a lot!
