Story
Last year Over 150 amazing people helped me raise £3,557 for charity ahead of completing the Bolton Ironman in July. I'm still blown away and humbled by the generosity of everyone who donated so thank you.
I'm stepping it up this time as I qualified to compete in the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. Today in February I'm 7 and a bit months out and I'm starting this page and it'd be amazing to beat my total (£3,557) and my time (10:49:33) from last year.
This year, I've decided to raise money for and I'm 'being a champion' & raising game-changing money for Global's Make Some Noise. Their work is in Improving lives through small and local charities
I count myself lucky to be surrounded by family and friends who have helped create a support structure and lifestyle/environment/whatever you want to call it - I'm eternally grateful for.
Globals Make Some Noise Emergency Appeal is raising money for those hit hardest by coronavirus in our communities. Coronavirus has impacted so many lives in so many different ways, but the most vulnerable are struggling to cope. Please give what you can to support vulnerable people experiencing grief, poverty, domestic abuse, loneliness, illness and mental health problems.
There are small charities in every local community that are working to improve the lives of neighbours, families, and friends, just like yours.
