For such a progressive and affluent area 1 in 4 children in Milton Keynes live in poverty and does not go to sleep with a full belly.  Despite our wonderful services such as the YMCA Milton Keynes is known as the homeless youth capital of the UK.  And, despite the very visible presence of The Bus Shelter and Winter Night Shelter there will still be many people sleeping out in the cold while we are tucked up in our beds over the coldest part of the year.

I am horrified at this new and I'm doing something about it.
