Surrey Half Marathon 2015 · 8 March 2015 ·

Step by Step are taking a stand against youth homelessness. We find safe and supportive homes for young people across the South of England, complemented with wellbeing support and lifeskills training. Each year, we empower 1,500 young heroes to strive for a brighter future.

Story

So after a few drinks a couple of weeks ago, I slightly foolishly signed up to run an half marathon.  It seemed like a good idea at the time, until I realised that I actually had to do some training.  I've set a rather ambitious target of 1 hour 45 minutes which would be achievable if a) I did sufficient training and b) I had an acceptable diet, neither of which has happened yet.
Anyway, I'm running for a charity called 'Step by Step' who help homeless young adults near where I grew up.  They are a relatively small charity so any donations would be most welcome.
So if the idea of me waddling through the Surrey countryside on a freezing Sunday morning in March appeals to you, please donate to this most worthy of charities.  Thanks for your support!  David
