Story

I've agreed to do a stupid thing.

If you know me, then you probably know my beard. It's been with me for years, and I'm very attached to it - you can see in the photos below. So it's been a bit of a shock to shave it, and my head, for the - remarkably chilly - month of November.

This sacrifice, however, will be worth it if you're willing to chip in a little bit of money to Golau Cancer Foundation, the charity that supports the work of the South West Wales Cancer Centre, based in Singleton Hospital.

I lost my father to cancer before I was two years old. I now work in Singleton Hospital, and I see the amazing work that the Cancer Centre does on a daily basis, to give people a better quality of life, and more time with their families.

So please consider helping out with their work. For more information about Golau, see the links above or www.golaucancerfoundation.wales.nhs.uk

Happy Movember!
