Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My partner Bev and I will be cycling the 127 miles of the Leeds-Liverpool canal on 22nd and 23rd June on Raleigh Choppers. Your support by way of a donation will be greatly appreciated to help us during the bleak moments. I am raising money for O2e, a registered charity I am proud to Chair, and who do terrific work to improve the lives of terminally ill and disabled children. The organisation is driven by volunteers so almost every single penny you donate will go to these worthy causes.
Bev and I will set off from Albert Dock at 7am on 22nd and intend to finish around 6pm on Sunday 23rd at Leeds Basin. The 127 miles will be a little tricky on Raleigh Choppers, which some of you might remember from the 1970s when these were iconic and fashionable means of transport for spoilt children (I didn't have one). These particular Mark III models have three gears that don't work, non-existent brakes and a tendency to flip backwards if you pedal hard and will therefore be perfect for our adventure. Please give generously.
