Fundraising for Cancer Research UK
Cancer has affected many of our lives in one way or another. For those of you that know me well, you will understand why I am doing this. For those of you that I haven't see for some time, Cancer has been a horrific burden on my family. My Mum, Doreen, died of Cancer in 2004 and my Mother-in-Law, Sue, died of Leukaemia in 2012. Both were wonderful women who are terribly missed.
This September, I’m taking on Shine, the marathon night walk, to help Cancer Research UK fund their life-saving work. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there.Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.Gift AidIf you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.www.shinewalk.org
