Story
Many of you have heard this story / request for support before - thank you for your continued and amazing support for my fundraising efforts...
Before he passed away in 2005, my father had MS for over 30 years. Our family experienced first hand what a cruel disease it is although my father always dealt with it with great fortitude (well, most of the time!). Seeing the physical and emotional impact such diseases can have on people, I feel blessed to be able to be easily active and I cherish the "small" things in life such as playing tennis with my children, kicking a ball about etc... When it comes to participating in the odd marathon, it also helps that I like running!
The Berkshire MS Therapy Centre is a great local charity that provides fantastic support for local people with Multiple Sclerosis. My father was involved with this charity for many years, initially as a supporter and later as a beneficiary of their work.
As with all charities, Covid has had a devastating impact on fundraising - all the more reason to get out there and take part in an event in one of the World's most beautiful cities! Anything you can do to support would be brilliant. I have secured the place in Paris myself, so all funds go to the charity for their core activities (i.e., you are not subsidising me / my place!).
Thank you! Lots of love, David / Dave / DC etc...
