Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most of you know my daughter Rachel has cerebral palsy which causes difficulties with mobility and some aspects of motor function.

Rachel receives valuable help from Bobath Scotland, a registered charity who provide her with a combination of occupational therapy and physiotherapy.  Although funded in part by the NHS, Bobath are forced to raise additional funds through charitable donations to extend the support they can provide.

As a way of both saying 'thank you' and helping in that fundraising effort we are now about to undertake what will be the 2nd 'Rachel's Walk' which we hope will develop into an annual event. Due to an old injury (honest) I am unable to run these days but I will walk 13.1 miles the equivalent of a half marathon.

Any support you are able to offer would be very much appreciated.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Regards

David
