Story
When my mum was diagnosed with bowel cancer it was the first realisation that my mum isn’t cast iron as she rarely gets ill. An operation and treatment of chemotherapy later and fortunately things seem fine. Too many others have not been so lucky.
I’m doing the continuous 106km around the Isle of Wight in support of Bowel Cancer (UK) and this will be my furthest challenge yet (in one day). I would really appreciate your support to help overcome this horrible disease.
Bowel Cancer (UK) are the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. They fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care. They’re here to stop people dying of bowel cancer.
