This trek is something I have wanted to do for a very long time. Taking part in this event means that I will hopefully raise a lot of money for a worthwhile cause. As some of you may know, I have spent the last 10 years walking the streets of the North East of England as a postman but not even that can prepare me for the challenge I face with this trek. The trek takes place over 5 days, finishing at Petra, after travelling over 70km alongside the Dead Sea. Along the route I will encounter valleys and hills and end each day sleeping under the stars. This is such an amazing opportunity with the added bonus of raising money for such an incredible charity. All donations welcome - no matter how big or small!
