Story
Many thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, this time I'm running the Edinburgh Marathon on 23rd May 2010 as apparently the Great North Run was'nt quite long enough for me! (Fool!)
To help spur me on I'm raising money for Teesside Hospice, a charity thats very close to the hearts of me and my family, in particular me and my three sisters Annette, Jane and Denise. On the 18th November 2000 our mum sadly lost her battle with cancer. However before she passed away she spent her last remaining months in the care of Teesside Hospice. We are all still immensely grateful for the level of care she recieved and the peaceful surroundings they provided during that time. Without this service we would not of been able to fully enjoy the remaining time we had together.
Without donations Teesside Hospice simply would'nt be able to function and lives of many people in the region would be significantly worsened. Please help support this essential service by donating whatever you can, you'll be contributing towards the happiness of many people and family's.
Teesside Hospice Care Foundation based in Linthorpe, Middlesbrough was established in 1982 to enhance the lives of local people suffering from life limiting illnesses. The Hospice cares for over 3,000 individuals each year living in Tees Valley, South Durham and North Yorkshire. All services are free of charge.
