Story

For some illogical and unknown reason I, along with my sons John & Alex, have ‘volunteered’ to run the Liverpool Spring 10K & 5K and will be raising much needed funds to help The Whitechapel Centre meet the needs of people experiencing homelessness.

All of you know this is a cause close to my heart – as the poverty crisis worsens homelessness is on the increase.  We have to act.

So on Sunday, 7th May I will be running the 10K and John & Alex the 5K.

Colleagues in work have set a challenge for our 10K to be completed in under 60 minutes – clearly this challenge was set by someone who has a much higher level of fitness than me! They‘re not in their 50s either!  However, the challenge is set.

Together, John, Alex and I will be running 20K so I’d be very grateful if you would take time to support us in this challenge and help make a difference i.e. sponsor us.

Thank you.
