Story
Dear freinds,
I finally completed this years 'Hell-Run' in exactly 2hrs 46min 56secs which was 264th in the male over 40 catagory so not too bad after all.
The run itself was the hardest run I have ever completed, even harder than a 26 mile marathon. The weather on the day didn't help as it was freezing cold with driving rain which made worse the chest high waters of the 'bog of doom' and the 'hills of hell' very wet, slippery, smelly and thick with sticky mud!
Overall though, I would like to say a very big thank you to each and every one of you for making very generous donations, so much so that I have increased my target figure to £2000 because of your increasing generousity. However, I think we would all agree that the men and women of our armed forces who lay their lives on the line daily, are worth every penny and this web site will stay open for another month to collect any more donations.
* The 'Hell-Run' is a gruelling 12 miles over multi-terrain through Delamere Forest.

* I am running this race with the help of my scuba diving buddies from 'Hartford Sub Aqua Club'.
* I'm also a reservist with 88 PC Sqn (RLC TA)
