Remembrance Ride London-Bruges 2009 · 17 September 2009

O2e encourages and supports ordinary people to achieve extraordinary sporting and physical challenges. In so doing O2e aims to raise substantial sums of money to support terminally ill and disabled children and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 17th & 18th of September a group of 100 riders of all ages, abilities and nationalities will set off from London's Cenotaph for a 200 mile cycle to Bruges, Belgium. Day 1 will see us tackle Kent's rolling hills en route to Dover, whilst on Day 2 we will work our way through the battle fields of Flanders.

Our main beneficiaries in 2009 are the Demelza House Children's Hospice, the only residential hospice in Kent, East Sussex and SE London caring for life limited children and their families,  (http://www.demelza.org.uk/), and also Get Kids Going, an exciting charity that enables disabled children to take part in sports.

As always, all O2E participants pay all their own expenses, so every penny you pledge goes directly to helping seriously and terminally ill children. O2E was formed by a group of like minded individuals 3 years ago and has raised over £700,000 so far and continues to be run purely by volunteers.

Please dig deep and give what you can. THANKS.
