Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This page has been set up in memory of my father who sadly passed away on the 8th June.
Cardiff half marathon is actually taking place on what would have been my father's 70th birthday - 18th October 2009. On discovery of the date of the marathon my brother and sisters and I realised fate had booked us all to complete this momentous task in memory of our wonderful father.
Once we had committed to the task a number of our friends and family were also voluntering to run in memory of our father. In all there are 10 people taking part.
We are running for the British Diabetic Association as my father had been a diabetic since he was 13 years old.
Diabetes UK is the charity for people with diabetes, their family, friends and carers. Their mission is to improve the lives of people with diabetes and to work towards a future without diabetes.
